Brewsters Brewing Company is a Canadian chain of breweries and restaurants located in Calgary and Edmonton. This particular restaurant is located at 5519 53 St SE, Calgary, Alberta. The restaurant was built in 1998, added on in 2004 and 2017. The fire alarm system is somewhat original, with a partial upgrade in 2015.

There is one Edwards 270-SPOW conventional single-action pull station on the system. There is a Secutron MRM-MPG1 conventional single-action pull station in the brewery area as a deficiency replacement.

There are Edwards 284C 194°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the kitchen and brewery areas except one. Some boiler rooms and the mechanical rooms have System Sensor 5604A conventional 194°F fixed-temperature heat detectors; there is one in the brewery area as a deficiency replacement. There are Edwards 281B-PL conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some rooms on the second floor as well as the lab. There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors at the top of each stairwell.
