The complex is protected by a Tyco/Grinnell Series M-1000 conventional fire alarm system. There are three panels, located in the following:
* Rear hallway exit of I
* Parkade electrical room of II
* Penthouse electrical room 
Each panel supervises its respective area, and are wired to trip each other when one goes into alarm. The system coding is temporal.

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors at the top of the stairwell and in some other areas. There are FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the telephone/electrical rooms and mechanical room. One server room has a Simplex 4098-9615 conventional 200°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector. There is a mix of FDD CF-135 and System Sensor 5603A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors throughout the parkade.

There are Mircom MP-300 end-of-line resistor plates on all circuits.
