The house is protected by an EST QuickStart QS4 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main floor office/server room. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

====Notification Appliances====
All notification appliances are EST "Genesis" G1R-HOV15 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, 15cd).

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all bedrooms, the office, and all corridors and common areas. There are EST SIGA-HRS addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the washroom and kitchen. All aforementioned detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases. There is an EST "SuperDuct" SIGA-SD addressable photoelectric duct smoke detector on the furnace duct.

There is an EST SIGA-CR addressable relay module for furnace shutdown. There is an EST "Genesis SignalMaster" G1M-RM signal control module installed on NACs 1 and 2 for 4-wire operation and strobe synchronization.
