'''Richmond Towers''' is a set of apartment buildings in Calgary owned and operated by Boardwalk. This page will cover building 69, located at 69 Glamis Drive SW, Calgary, Alberta. It was built in 1980, and the fire alarm system is mostly original, with an FACP replacement occurring in 2007 and parts replaced as deficiencies occur.

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous. This panel replaced an Edwards Custom 6500 120VAC version in 2007.

==== Notification Appliances ====

The notification appliances were unchanged, and are fed by a contactor connected to a Mircom MIX-M500RAPA addressable relay module. Most notification appliances are Edwards "Durabel" 6000D vibrating bells (10" gong). There is an Edwards "Adaptabel" 340D vibrating bell (10" gong) on the third floor. Additionally, the following bells have been installed as deficiency replacements:
* System Sensor SSM120-10A vibrating bells (10" gong)
* System Sensor SSM120-6A vibrating bells (6" gong)

Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations. There are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements. The penthouse has a Mircom MS-401AP addressable single-action pull station.

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building. There are FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the laundry and electrical rooms. The main garbage and laundry rooms have System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors. The penthouse has a Mircom MIX-5251RAPA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector, mounted on a System Sensor B210LPA base.
