The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the firefighter command room. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and is equipped with Notifier's "Digital Voice Command" voice-evacuation system. The evacuation tone is unknown, but the horn/strobes' coding is temporal.

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building. There are Notifier FST-851RA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the garbage room and at the bottom of the elevator shaft. All above detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases. There is a System Sensor DNRA duct smoke detector housing with an FSP-851A addressable photoelectric head on the AHU. Outside each electrical room, there is a Notifier FCO-851A addressable carbon monoxide detector, mounted on a System Sensor B200SRA sounder base.
