The original fire alarm panel was a Notifier AFP-200. It was removed in 2020 due to a potential NAC failure. However, the culprit was found to be bent prongs on the P2RA horn/strobes.  Because it still worked, the AFP-200 was used as a demonstration panel for Viking Fire Protection until 2021.  It was rescued by Yycsfirealarmnimrod, and is now his main panel.  This system ran on Notifier's CLIP protocol.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. This system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal. The permit issued for the upgrade was "Fire Alarm Repair (Sunpark Professional Building)" on May 28, 2020.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are System Sensor P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd). Some areas such as washrooms have System Sensor SRLA remote strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility, mounted on System Sensor B210LPA low-profile bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Notifier FRM-1A addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
