AgeCare Walden Heights is a large 5-story long term care/assisted living facility/retirement home located at 250 Walden Drive Southeast, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 2010, and the fire alarm system is original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation. The messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Notifier LCD-160 annunciator at one nursing station, and more possibly exist.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" SPSRA speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount). For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor SRKA weatherproof remote strobe (red, wall-mount) located outside the main entrance.

All pull stations are Notifier N-MPS-2A addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.

There are Notifier FSP-951A photoelectric addressable smoke detector located in Hallways, vestibules and Resident Rooms, mounted on System Sensor B300A-6 low-profile bases.

There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Notifier FRM-1A addressable relay module serving various purposes.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits. [[]
