'''Marlborough Station''' is a [[CTrain]] light rail station on the Blue Line. It is located near the neighborhood of Marlborough, NE Calgary. The station was built in 1985, but none of the fire alarm system is original. The fire panel seems to be from 2013, as there was construction there that year.

The fire alarm panel is most likely an EST QuickStart QS1. It is unconfirmed because it's not visible, but the automatic detection devices suggest it. It was most likely installed in 2013.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS4 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room, labeled Room #4 in the service corridor. This system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

The notification appliances consist of:

  • A General Signal MB6-24 motor bell (6" gong) at the bottom of the stairs
  • A Wheelock MBS-G6-24 motor bell/strobe (6" gong, 1.5cd) at the top of the stairs
  • Two Edwards MB10-24 motor bells (10" gong) on EST "Integrity" 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd) at the entrance and in an inaccessible area.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
