'''Safeway''' is a chain of grocery stores in Alberta. This particular location is in Dalhousie, NW Calgary. It is officially called Safeway Dalhousie Station, due to being adjacent to the Dalhousie station on the CTrain line. It was built in 1996, and the fire alarm system was recently replaced, and only a few pull stations remain. The store is in a large plaza, however only the Safeway is protected by a fire alarm system.

The fire alarm panel is a Simplex 4007ES, specifically 4007-9202 (Platinum cabinet). It is located in the entrance on the right. It replaced the original EST 6632 in 2021 most likely due to a CPU failure, and because the 6632 was large, there is drywall covering the 6632's space. The permit issued for this upgrade was "Fire Alarm System Modification - Replace Fire Alarm Panel and select initiating/signaling devices." on February 12, 2021.

==== Notification Appliances ====

The notification appliances are all from Simplex's "TrueAlert" lineup. The store has Simplex 4906-9127 (red, wall-mount, SmartSync) horn/strobes installed in the original bell/strobes places, leaving the area not covered by the horn/strobe unpainted. On the ceilings, there are Simplex 4906-9104 (white, ceiling-mount, SmartSync) remote strobes, installed in place of the previous strobes. Outside the entrance, there is a Simplex 4906-9131 (red, wall-mount, SmartSync) weatherproof remote strobe.
