System Specifications (Cedar Suites & Main Building) (2000s-present)
FACP
The buildings are protected by a Grinnell Series M-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the Cedar Suites entrance vestibule in the west building, adjacent to reception. The system coding is temporal.
The Series M-1000 replaced an Edwards Custom 6500 in the 2000s.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are System Sensor “L-Series” P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd), except for above the panel and the south hotel hallways of the main building.
The south hallways in the main building have System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd), likely new old stock.
The P2RA's and P2RLA's were installed in 2020, replacing Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6" gong, 1986) and some Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bells (10" gong, original).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
Most smoke detectors are System Sensor “i3” C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors, located throughout both buildings. The one by the panel was installed as a deficiency replacement for a System Sensor 1400A conventional ionization smoke detector in 2022.
The electrical room, and ski and locker area corridors both contain System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate of rise heat detectors.
The pool hallway and mechanical room have Mircom TD-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors.
There are System Sensor D2A conventional photoelectric duct smoke detectors on each AHU.
EOLs
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all circuits.

FACP
This building is protected by a Mircom Series FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is continuous, as the notification appliances are self-coded to temporal.
The Series 1000 replaced a Notifier System 500 in the late 2000s.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are System Sensor “L-Series” P2RLA-E horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, English only, set to 15cd).
There is a System Sensor P2RLA horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) in the office of the main building for indicating. It replaced a System Sensor PA400RSA silenceable mini-horn (red) and System Sensor SS-24M remote strobe (red, wall-mount, 1.5cd) in 2024.
These were installed in 2020 replacing Notifier KMS-6-24VDC/P motor bells (6” gong).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are Notifier FM950-B conventional pull stations. These are the original models, with the black labels.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout most areas.
The electrical room has a System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate of rise heat detector.
The mechanical room has a Mircom TD-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector.
EOLs
There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all circuits except for the main building horn/strobe.
There is a Mircom MP-300 end-of-line resistor plate on the main building horn/strobe circuit.
