New Brighton Child Care is a daycare located at 6 New Brighton Heath SE, Calgary, Alberta. The centre opened in 2014, and the fire alarm system is original.
System Specifications (2014-present)
FACP
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the west foyer. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. The alert signal is 20BPM, followed by temporal as the alarm signal.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P4RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Pull Stations
All pull stations are Notifier N-MPS-2A addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all corridors, stairwells and some rooms.
There are Notifier FST-851A addressable 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the mechanical room, washrooms and kitchen.
All aforementioned detectors but one are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases, while the upstairs washroom heat detector is on a System Sensor B224BIA isolator base.
The attic has System Sensor 5604A conventional 190°F fixed-temperature heat detectors, all wired to a single Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor module.
