Louise Block is a historic office building located at 1018 Macleod Trail Southeast, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1910 as a mixed commercial/residential building, and was redeveloped in 2000 as an office building, with retail spaces on the main floor. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of the 2000 conversion, with replacement parts installed as deficiencies occur.

Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
Some areas have System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) and System Sensor “L-Series” P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd), both as deficiency replacements.

Deficiency replacements are as follows:
- Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations in some areas
- Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations in some areas
- Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations in the basement.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors at the top of the south stairs, top of the basement stairs, and at the top of the elevator shaft.
There is an Edwards C2M-PD conventional photoelectric smoke detector at the top of the north stairs, and an FDD CF-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector at the bottom of the elevator shaft.
EOLs
There are Notifier EOL-CR and Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
