Kia Center is a 20,000 seat arena located at 400 West Church Street, in Orlando, Florida, USA. The arena is home to the NBA’s Orlando Magic, the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears, and the AFL’s Orlando Predators. The arena is owned by The City of Orlando. The arena was built in 2010, and the fire alarm system is original.
System Specifications
FACP
The building is protected by a Notifier NOTI-FIRE-NET networked fire alarm system. All nodes are Notifier NFS2-3030 addressable fire alarm panels; the locations of which are unknown. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and is equipped with Notifier’s “Digital Voice Command” (DVC) voice evacuation system. The evacuation signal is a temporal tone, followed by an English/Spanish bilingual message.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Wheelock E50-24MCW-FR speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd).
The arena’s public address system also broadcasts all system audio.

There are no pull stations in any public areas of the building.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FSP-851 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas, mounted on Notifier B710LP bases.
Modules
There are Notifier FMM-1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Notifier FRM-1 addressable relay modules serving various purposes, including PA takeover.
