*Note: YYCsFireAlarmNimrod frequently modifies the fire alarm system, hence the "can range from" and "usually consist" parts.  He is currently receiving about 30 new parts, which will be used on the system.  Although he frequently modifies it, it is always powered up. He can pull the alarm on it any time he wants to without being fined as it is a controlled environment. NEVER pull a fire alarm unless there is actually a fire emergency.
FACP
FACP
The current FACP in this basement is a Notifier AFP-200C addressable fire alarm panel. It was made in 2003, and was previously in use at 40 Sunpark Plaza SE. The panel was removed due to NAC troubles, but the culprit was found to have been bent prongs on the horn/strobe terminals. This panel is in immaculate condition, and is fully functional, with no troubles or any other issues. This is the third panel this system has had since it was installed in August 2020. The previous panel was a Simplex 4010, and the original panel was a Fire-Lite MS-4. The system runs Notifier's CLIP addressable protocol. When in alarm, the system does march time.

The fire alarm panel is a "new" [redacted] that came from YouTuber CJ9899. It was installed as the replacement for the previous Fire-Lite MS-4 in 2021 that was previously owned by User:AdenK2333 and User:Twentytwo22. The MS-4 was also previously used in the Barndominium. The [redacted] replaced the MS-4 because it had a Power Trouble, more specifically a Charger Fault, caused by an unknown event which was not caused by the current owner.  The MS-4 was taken out of service on April 19, 2021.
This panel may be replaced with a Notifier NFS2-3030C in the coming weeks.

Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are currently a Simplex 2901-9720 motor bell (6"), along with the following devices being wired as strobes, with all horn/strobes having the horn disconnected: Siemens ZR-MC-W-B, Wheelock MT-241575W-FR, Edwards 757-5A-T, System Sensor SRA, Kidde "Genesis" EG1R-VM, Edwards 892-2B, Simplex 4903-9219, and System Sensor P4RLA.
The notification appliances usually consist of a Simplex 2901-9720 (made 1989/1990) motor bell and an EST "Integrity" 202-5A-T remote strobe (made in 1997) The 2901-9720 came out of R.T. Alderman School, and the strobe came out of a Walmart in Cambridge, Ontario.  More notification appliances used are an Edwards 892-2B (made 1992) with only the strobe hooked up (the horn failed), EST "Integrity" 757-5A-T horn/strobes (also made in 1997), and recently a Simplex 2901-9722 motor bell, and an EST "Genesis LED" G1-AVRF (red, wall mount, no FIRE marking) horn/strobe. The Integrity devices came from YouTuber CJ9899, and the 2901-9722 also came out of R.T. Alderman School. The Genesis LED horn/strobe came from User:Twentytwo22.  Other notification appliances used include a Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9102 (red, ceiling, SmartSync) remote strobe that came new in box, an EST "Integrity" 757-7A-T (red, 15/75 cd) horn/strobe, and two more Simplex 2901-9720 motor bells.

Pull Stations
Pull Stations
The current pull stations vary, but these are accurate as of 2/28/2022. The bottom left of the board has a Notifier N-MPS-SA addressable single-action pull station. Right above the N-MPS-SA is a Notifier N-MPS-2A addressable two-stage pull station, mounted on a Simplex backbox. The two-stage switch on this pull station is wired to trip the "disco lights", which are unsynchronized strobes that serve as party lights. This pull station is also equipped with a Notifier MPS-LP dual-action conversion kit. Next to the N-MPS-2A is a Pyr-A-Larm MS-51 bilingual conventional single-action pull station. This pull station is wired into a Notifier FMM-101A addressable module from the mid 2000s. Next to the MS-51 is a Notifier LNG-1R conventional dual-action pull station. This pull station is wired into a Notifier MMX-101A addressable module, which will likely be upgraded to an FMM-101A if the panel is replaced. Below the LNG-1R is a Siemens MS-53C two-stage single-action pull station. Only the pull station is hooked up; the GA switch is not in use. This pull station is wired into a Notifier FMM-1A addressable module, which was chosen in favor of an FMM-101A due to a lack of wire length, and only having 4" backboxes at the time of installation.
The pull stations are also changed out sometimes, but they consist of a Simplex 2099-9201 (4251-20), a Simplex 2099-9754, an ADT B5009, an FCI MS-2, but an "EPO & DISCONNECT" variant, which is meant for an emergency stop switch, a Fire-Lite BG-12L, and a GE 270-SPO. The Simplex 2099-9201 came out of R.T. Alderman School, and the GE 270-SPO was from User:Twentytwo22. Other pull stations include an Edwards 270-SPO pull station (1990s), a late 1990s Edwards 270-SPO pull station, an Edwards 275-C111 pull station, a Mircom MS-401 pull station, four Mirtone 73303 pull stations, and an Edwards 270-GAO two-stage pull station. He also owns a Simplex 4099-9004 addressable single-action pull station with an LED, but as the system is conventional, it cannot be used.

There is currently only one detector on this system. It is a Notifier FSL-751A VIEW (Very Intelligent Early Warning) laser smoke detector. It was removed from the Enmax headquarters in Calgary.
The automatic detection devices are a Simplex 2098-9110 2-wire ionization smoke detector, an Edwards C2M-PD photoelectric smoke detector, a System Sensor 5601A rate-of-rise/fixed temp heat detector, a System Sensor "i3" C2W-BA photoelectric smoke detector, and an Edwards 281B-PL rate-of-rise/fixed temperature heat detector. This smoke detector was used previously, it came out of R.T. Alderman School, and an Edwards 6249C ionization smoke detector. Addressable detectors are a Simplex 4098-9714 photoelectric addressable smoke detector, and a Simplex 4098-9734 addressable rate-of-rise heat detector.
Bonus Info: The JCI tech known as Vic said to Yycsfirealarmnimrod that this detector "belonged to the garbage can". Naturally, Yycsfirealarmnimrod put the detector in his backpack before anyone noticed.

This is a hobby system and is not powered on 24/7 and therefore does not provide any reliable fire protection. This page is for demonstration purposes only.
System Specifications
FACP: Notifier AFP-200C
System Line Voltage: 120VAC
NAC Voltage: 24VDC

System Type: Addressable (Hybrid Manner)
Date of last upgrade: 2022
Year Built: 2003

NOTE: This page is being heavily edited due to a panel change in this fire alarm system. It is also updated every time he gets a new fire alarm device.

YYCsFireAlarmNimrod's Basement (name may be subject to change) is a basement in Calgary, built in 2003. It has a mini fire alarm system owned and serviced by User:YYCsFireAlarmNimrod.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

This panel may be replaced with a Notifier NFS2-3030C in the coming weeks.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

The notification appliances are currently a Simplex 2901-9720 motor bell (6"), along with the following devices being wired as strobes, with all horn/strobes having the horn disconnected: Siemens ZR-MC-W-B, Wheelock MT-241575W-FR, Edwards 757-5A-T, System Sensor SRA, Kidde "Genesis" EG1R-VM, Edwards 892-2B, Simplex 4903-9219, and System Sensor P4RLA.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
