The building is protected by an Autocall Model 3FA32W29TA coded fire alarm control system. It was  installed in 1954 when the school’s fire alarm system was automated, and is still in use after 65+ years! The panel is located in the boiler room. When in alarm the system does the marching cadence code 4-4-4-4.

The pull rod runs from the 3rd floor to the basement of the building
