System Specifications (2018-present)[edit | edit source]
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in a room behind the front desk. The panel is fitted with a Notifier NCA-2 display. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances are from System Sensor's "SpectrAlert Advance" line of products. All common area notification appliances are System Sensor P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd). The guest rooms contain System Sensor MHW mini horns (white).
There are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong) left over in the weight room and pool area, however it is unknown how that portion works.
Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]
Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations. However, the Edwards 275-C111 conventional pull stations still exist in the pool area and weight room, and it is unknown if these are still in use.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors on B210LPA bases throughout the hotel.
Modules[edit | edit source]
There are likely Notifier FMM-1A monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
EOLs[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.

FACP: Edwards 6500
FACP Location: Room Behind Front Desk System Coding: 20BPM (first stage) Continuous (GA) |
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building was protected by an Edwards 6500 conventional fire alarm system. The panel was located in a room behind the front desk. The system was configured for two-stage operation. First stage coding was 20BPM, followed by continuous in general alarm.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances except for one were the original Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong). They were mounted behind grills in all common areas except for the parkade, pool area, basement and The Fireweed Grill. There was a Notifier KMS-6-24A motor bell (6" gong) on the third floor as a deficiency replacement.
Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]
Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations were Edwards 275-C111 conventional pull stations. Despite being two-stage, two devices had to be activated to go into general alarm.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
The smoke detectors were a mix of System Sensor 1412A ionization smoke detectors and Edwards 6264B ionization smoke detectors.
