It was built in 1994 as a Revy, became RONA in 2004, and was converted to a Lowe's in 2018. The fire alarm system was unaffected by these changes, however only some notification appliances are original.

The building is protected by a Simplex 4010 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located just past the main entrance, adjacent to the customer service desk. It was installed in the 2000s replacing the original EST ESA2000; the cabinet remains. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal.
