Musée des Filles de Jésus is a museum located at 873 Boul. Saint-Louis, in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. The building was built in 1909, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 1980, with additional upgrades occurring in the 2000s.
System Specifications (2000s-present)
FACP
The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS4 hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the front office area. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. The alert coding is 20BPM, and the alarm coding is temporal.
Annunciators
There is an EST QSA-2-S annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Edwards “Adaptahorn” 885-D remote horns (red, surface-mount).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most pull stations are Edwards 270-GAO conventional two-stage single-action pull stations, wired to EST SIGA-CT2 addressable dual-input monitor modules.
Some areas have EST SIGA-270P addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout most areas.
There are EST SIGA-HRS addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
There are a mix of System Sensor 5601A and FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas.
There is an Edwards EC30U-3 conventional photoelectric smoke detector in the third floor elevator lobby, mounted on an Edwards CRB4U-1 relay base.
Modules
There are a mix of EST SIGA-CT1 and SIGA-CT2 addressable monitor modules supervising all conventional zones and the kitchen suppression system.
EOLs
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all conventional and signal circuits.
