The building is protected by an EST3 addressable fire alarm control panel.  It is located next to the main security desk.  It was installed in 2002, but it is unknown what it replaced.  It is voice evac, but it is unknown what tones or messages it plays. The panel is set to be replaced with an EST4 in October, and [[User:Yycsfirealarmnimrod]] will be getting the EST3. This building will probably to be the first Calgary building to have an EST4.
