N3 is the name given to a 15-story high rise apartment/condominium building in East Village, SE Calgary. It is Calgary's first parking-free condo and consists of 167 units. The building was completed in 2017 and has the original fire alarm system.

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. This is believed to be a networked system with several nodes. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation signal is slow whoop.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All common areas have Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9157 speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V/15cd) and Simplex 4902-9721CA remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V), installed in an alternating pattern.

The balconies on floors 2 and 15 have Wheelock ET-1010-R weatherproof remote speakers (red, wall-mount, 70V).

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

There are Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relay modules serving various purposes.

There are Simplex 4090-9116 addressable isolator modules on the SLC.

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
