Heritage Square is a mixed-use office building located at 8500 Macleod Trail, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 1979, and the fire alarm system is from 2008, with the NACs being redone in 2022.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Notifier LCD-160 annunciator at the main entrance.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are System Sensor P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual, set to 15cd). These replaced Mircom "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" FHS-240R (red, 15cd) horn/strobes in 2022.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations, wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility, mounted on Notifier B710LPA bases. There are also System Sensor DNRA duct smoke detectors present, with Notifier FSP-851A photoelectric detector heads and System Sensor RA100ZA remote LED annunciators.

There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

There are Notifier FRM-1A addressable relay modules serving various purposes.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
