No Frills is a discount grocery store chain owned by Loblaws. This particular store is located at 210 Fifth Ave, Cochrane, AB. The building was built in 1997 as Extra Foods, and was converted to No Frills in 2012, also adding GoodLife Fitness. The fire alarm components in No Frills are original except for the panel, while the GoodLife Fitness components were installed in 2012.
System Specifications (1997-present)[edit | edit source]
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Kidde VS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is in the entrance of No Frills. The system runs Kidde's GSA addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
The VS1 was installed in 2018, replacing an EST QuickStart QS1, which in turn replaced the original Edwards EST2 in 2012.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There is a Kidde RLCD annunciator outside of GoodLife Fitness, fitted in the QSA-1-S cabinet.

There are also Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bells (6" gong) scattered throughout the store.
