Showhome Furniture is a furniture store located in North Hill Centre, at 1616 14 Ave NW. It was originally built in 1958 as Sears, which closed in 2018 and has since been the furniture store. The fire alarm system was installed in approximately 2010.

System Specifications (2010-present)[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The store is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All audible notification appliances are Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6" gong).
There are also EST "Integrity" 202-5A-T remote strobes (red, 15cd), which are often mounted next to the bells.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

The storefront is protected by a sprinkler system, so there are no detectors.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
