Real Canadian Superstore is a Canadian supermarket chain owned by Loblaws. This particular store is located at #10 110 Jennifer Heil Way, Spruce Grove, Alberta. The store opened in 2002, and the fire alarm system is partially original.
System Specifications (2002-present)[edit | edit source]
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
The NFS-320C replaced a Notifier AFP-200 in the 2010s.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances except for one are Notifier KMS-10-24VDC/P motor bells (10” gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-2415W strobe plates (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
There is one Notifier KMS-10-24A motor bell (10” gong) by the pharmacy as a deficiency replacement; the strobe plate remains.
Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]
Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are Notifier NFM-950B conventional single-action pull stations.
All stations have Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor modules attached to them.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are smoke detectors at the top of each stairwell, model unknown.
Modules[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier MMX-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
EOLs[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
