Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre is a shopping mall located at 8330 82 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. It is owned by Morguard, and its anchor tenants are Safeway, Dollarama, MaKami College (formerly Sears), Stitches, and Shoppers. The shopping centre was originally built in 1958 as an open-air with a bowling alley in the basement, and was finished over in 1967. The mall was then extensively renovated from 1993-1995, and the fire alarm system was fully upgraded during this renovation; the system was also partially upgraded in 2022.
System Specifications (1994-present)[edit | edit source]
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. The alert signal coding is 20BPM, followed by continuous as the alarm signal.
The 4100ES was installed in 2022, replacing a Simplex 4100+.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There is a Simplex 4603-9101 LCD annunciator in Entrance 1, as well as a graphic annunciator.
There is also a graphic annunciator in MaKami College.
