Colonial Apartments is a small apartment building in SW Calgary. It was built in 1963. The fire alarm system is not original. It was last inspected by FIS in 2019.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm panel is a Mircom FA-1025T. It is currently unknown when it was installed, but looks to be around the 2000s. It is not monitored and is a local system. The panel is installed at the front entrance.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are all Mircom FHS-240R horn/strobes in the interior and one Amseco SLB24-75C weatherproof remote strobe on the front door facing Elbow Drive.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
The pull stations are Mircom MS-401 single action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are two System Sensor 2W-B i3 photoelectric smoke detectors on the first and second floor, and Mircom 5601A fixed heat detectors located throughout.
