McMahon Stadium is a football stadium located in NW Calgary near Banff Trail station. It is the home of the Calgary Stampeders. This stadium was built in 1960, and renovated in 2001 and 2005. The fire alarm system was mostly from 2001 and 2005, except for the panel which was added in the 2010s.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Notifier NFS2-3030C. User:Yycsfirealarmnimrod has seen an annunciator, which was located in the players' tunnel, but the panel itself is not visible. Despite the panel being addressable, the system is not really set up in an addressable manner. The NFS2-3030C likely replaced an AM2020.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MC (red, wall) horn/strobes. They were installed in 2001 and 2005 following renovations.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are a mix of Notifier MPS-950KB two-stage pull stations from 2001 and 2005 and 2nd-generation Edwards 270-GAO two-stage pull stations. The Edwards pull stations probably have addressable modules on them.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
