'''Brookfield Place''' is a commercial development complex, otherwise an office building in Downtown Calgary, AB. It is the tallest building in Calgary, standing 56 floors tall, and started construction in 2013, and then was finished in 2017, so the system is original from 2017. The fire alarm system also supervises the +15 skywalk hallways toward [[Bow Valley Square]] to the north, and [[Stephen Avenue Place]] to the south.  The system is serviced by Viking Fire Protection.

Brookfield Place is a commercial development complex, otherwise an office building in Downtown Calgary, AB. It is the tallest building in Calgary, standing 56 floors tall, and started construction in 2013, and then was finished in 2017, so the system is original from 2017. The fire alarm system also supervises the +15 skywalk hallways toward Bow Valley Square to the north, and Stephen Avenue Place to the south. The system is serviced by Viking Fire Protection.

System Specifications

FACP

This large office building is protected by a voice-evac two-stage networked EST3 fire alarm system that was installed in 2017. It is unknown where the fire panels are as they is not visible, but the size of the building and the initiating devices suggest it is an EST3. There are probably 64 panels, due to the size.

Notification Appliances

The main notification appliances indoors are EST Genesis GC-S7 (white, ceiling, no FIRE marking) speakers. They can be found in hallways, one entrance and the high ceiling on the 2nd floor. On one side of the 2nd floor, there are EST Genesis G1-VM (white, wall, no FIRE marking) remote strobes, with the other side having EST G4-S7 (white, wall, no FIRE marking) speakers. At the entrance below the 2nd floor, there's an EST "Integrity" 757-1A-S70W speaker. In the hallways for the +15 skywalk and some ceilings, there are EST GC-S7VM (white, ceiling, no FIRE) speaker/strobes set to 15 cd, and 1/2 watt.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are EST SIGA-270P from 2013-2017. Some are GE branded, while some are the new EST logo.

Automatic Detection Devices

All smoke detectors are EST SIGA2-PS intelligent photoelectric detectors with the exception of one EST SIGA-PS intelligent photoelectric detector.
