The Home Depot is a chain of hardware stores. This particular location is in Beacon Hill, NW Calgary. It was built in 2005, with the original system still in use. Only a notification appliance and MAYBE a pull station were replaced.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm control panel is a Notifier AFP-200, original from 2005. It is located in the contractor pickup entrance, and for some reason has a DMP annunciator by the registers.
Notification Appliances
All of the notification appliances inside are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MC (red, wall) horn/strobes on the ceiling, original from 2005. The washrooms have System Sensor "SpectrAlert" S1224MC (red, wall) remote strobes on the wall. In the garden center, there are S1224MC strobes in the areas not exposed to rain or snow, and the areas exposed have System Sensor "SpectrAlert" H12/24W (white) horns. One was replaced with a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advanced" HRK (red) weatherproof horn between 2010-2017. One of the strobes in the garden center is falling off its trim plate.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most of the pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B from 2005. One of the pull stations by the right exit is a Simplex MS-301C. Why it is there, is unknown, but it may be a replacement. The pull stations in the garden center are Notifier NFM-950B, from 2005, but under stoppers.
