System Specifications (1986-present)
FACP
The fire alarm panel is a Mircom FA-1000, installed around 2007-2009. The original panel was an Edwards Custom 6500, in which the main board of the FA-1000 is in the 6500's cabinet. The FA-1000 has two bays, and only 24 zones are in use. The other bay was just used to fill up the 6500's cabinet. The panel is located near the back exit, near the store and some washrooms. System is serviced by a.p.i Alarm Inc, and formerly Banff Fire & Safety.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances consist of Edwards 881-D flush mount horns. They are seen throughout the daylodge, and are original.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most of the pull stations are the original Edwards 274-111. There is an Edwards 270-SPOB bilingual pull station as a replacement, installed in the 2000s by the store.
Automatic Detection Devices
All of the smoke detectors are Edwards EDW1451A ionization smoke detectors, which are original. One by the entrance was replaced with a System Sensor C2W-BA i3 photoelectric smoke detector.
