I am a total nimrod who has loved fire alarms since I was four.
I am a total nimrod who has loved fire alarms since I was four. I have a collection of five devices. I have two components that I got new in late 2017, which are an Ultimate Products 24VDC 6" motor bell, and a Mircom MS-401 pull. In October 2018, I got three alarms from a retired Calgary firefighter who served his job for 35 years. Before the old Calgary General Hospital was demolished in 1998, he salvaged two Edwards 270-GAO two-stage pulls (one from 1970, one from 1977) and an Edwards 333D 6" single-stroke "Adaptabel" fire bell. He was going to sell them for $65, but he gave them to me for free. The bell works after 20 years!
