Renfrew Educational Services is a special needs school, with many locations. This particular school is located in Bowness, in Northwest Calgary. It was built as a large house in 1998, and bought by Renfrew and converted to a school that next year (1999). The fire alarm system is not original, it was replaced in 2020.

The school is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located near the main entrance. The system runs Mircom's Advanced addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.
