System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is an EST QuickStart QS1, original to the building in 2003. The panel has had a few troubles, but mainly during the remodel of the McDonald's in 2019. The system is serviced by Johnson Controls.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are a mix of EST G1R-HV15 (red, wall, no FIRE, first gen) and EST Genesis G1R-HDVM (red, wall, no FIRE) horn/strobes that replaced first gens over the years. Usually there are four on each side of a pole, though some are on walls. It looks like some have been replaced, as some have the EST logo and some do not. The McDonald's has a recently installed G1R-HDVM, but is upside down. There are no outdoor notification appliances noticed.

The specific Edwards G1R-HDVM in Question

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All of the pull stations are EST SIGA-270. Most are original from 2003, but there is two from 2011-2013 (EST/GE). Some are under stoppers.

Automatic Detection Devices

All smoke detectors are EST SIGA-PS, from 2003.
