Walmart is a chain of big-box stores in North America. This particular location is located at 500 201 Southridge Drive in Okotoks, AB. It was built in approximately 2004, and has the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The store is protected by a Simplex 4100U addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the left entrance vestibule, and likely is equipped with the InfoAlarm Command Center. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is Temporal.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are mainly the original System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MCA (red, wall-mount, multi-candela) horn/strobes. There's also some System Sensor "SpectrAlert" S1224MCA (red, wall-mount, multi-candela) strobes around the store, most notably on the pillars. The pillars have two horn/strobes on opposite sides, and two remote strobes on the others. Deficiency replacements include Simplex "TrueAlert" 4904-9168 (red, wall mount, 15cd, free run) remote strobes, and Simplex "TrueAlert" 4903-9425 (red, wall, 4-wire, free run, 15cd) horn/strobes, replacing original notification appliances that failed.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are the original Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action T-bar pull stations.
