The Home Depot is an American home improvement store chain. This particular store is located at 11320 Sarcee Trail Northwest, in the Beacon Hill shopping area of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The store opened in 2005, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier AFP-200 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the contractor entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

All indoor notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P1224MCA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount) mounted on the ceiling. Areas of the garden centre with shelter also have these horn/strobes. The unsheltered areas of the garden centre have System Sensor H12/24KA weatherproof remote horns (red, wall-mount). All horns are set to electromechanical tone. In the Garden centre, there is a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" HRKA (red, wall-mount) weatherproof horn, as a deficiency replacement in 2017.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations but one are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations. The right entrance has a Simplex MS-301C conventional single-action pull station, which does not appear to be a replacement. All pull stations are wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules, located behind each station.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.

Accessories

There are likely two Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system.
