The Rec Room is a chain of entertainment restaurants owned by Cineplex. It has of arcade games, pool tables, and a climbing wall. This page will cover the Calgary location, located at 1180-901 64 Ave NE in Deerfoot City, NE Calgary. The 2-story entertainment complex was built in 2017, and the fire alarm system is original.
System Specifications (2017-present)
FACP
The facility is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, and is equipped with voice-evac. The system runs EST's Signature series addressable protocol and is configured for two stage operation. The tones and messages are unknown at this time.
Annunciators
There is an EST 3-6ANN annunciator at the entrance, and the annunciator has a 3-REMICA microphone on it.
Notification Appliances
All indoor notification appliances are from EST's Genesis lineup. The main notification appliances are EST "Genesis" G4R-S7VM (red, wall, no FIRE, multi-candela, 70V) speaker/strobes, and G4-S7 (white, wall, no FIRE, 70V) speakers. The second floor's drop ceiling area has EST GC-S7 (white, ceiling, no FIRE, 70V) speakers and GC-S7VM (white, ceiling, no FIRE) speaker/strobes. Outside on the patio, there are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" SPCWK (white, ceiling-mount) weatherproof speakers with EST "Integrity" CS405-8A-T weatherproof remote strobes. Depending on the mounting, they either have LKW-1 wall orientation lenses or LKC-1 ceiling orientation lenses.

Pull Stations
The pull stations are EST SIGA-270P addressable, two stage pull stations. There is one outside on the patio, under a Stopper cover.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA2-PS intelligent photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on SIGA-SB bases. There is also Waterflow protection.
