Safeway is a grocery store chain. This location is located at 615 Division Ave S in Medicine Hat, AB and was constructed sometime between 2000 and 2005. The panel and initiating devices however are not original.

System Specifications

FACP

The store is protected by a Simplex 4007ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the entrance, and possibly replaced an EST QuickStart QS1. It was installed around 2019. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are all Edwards 439D-10AWC (10" gong) vibrating bells mounted on EST "Integrity" 403-8A-R (red, 110cd) strobe plates. They are original.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are Simplex 4099-9004 (addressable, status LED) single-action pull station which likely replaced SIGA-270s.

Automatic Detection Devices

Waterflow protection, so no visible detectors.
