Safeway is a chain of grocery stores. This particular location is located at 2750 Fairway Plaza Rd S in Southern Lethbridge, AB. It is currently unknown when the store was built, but the pull stations suggest the 1980s.
System Specifications
FACP
The store is protected by an EST 6632 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule, and was installed around 1993-97. The system coding is continuous, but the horn/strobes are self-coded temporal.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are all EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM (red, wall, no FIRE) horn/strobes. They replaced some older Edwards notification appliances in the 2000s.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
The pull stations are mostly the potentially original 2nd generation Edwards 270-GAO (classic shield, no FIRE ALARM) two-stage pull stations despite the system being single stage. There are also a few Edwards 270-SPO pull stations from the same generation.
