Lake Louise Visitor Centre is the visitor centre located at 201 Village Road, Lake Louise, AB. It is the main tourist hub for lake louise. It was built around the 1990s, and recently went under a renovation from 2018-19. The system was installed in 2021.

System Specifications (2021-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a Siemens Cerberus Pro hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Siemens’ FirePrint addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is a Siemens annunciator at the main entrance, model unknown.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Siemens ZH-MC-R-B horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd)).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Siemens M61-B conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Siemens HFP-11 addressable multisensor smoke/heat detectors throughout the building.

System Specifications (2019-2021)

Former System Specifications
FACP: Notifier NFS-320C

FACP Location: Unknown
System Type: Conventional
System Line Voltage: 120VAC
NAC Voltage: 24VDC

System Coding: Temporal
Strobes Synchronized: Yes, SS
Date of last known Upgrade: N/A
Year Decomissioned: 2021

FACP

The building was likely protected by a Notifier NFS-320C conventional fire alarm system. The panel location was unknown, but was assumed due to the size of the building. It was installed following the renovation. The system coding was temporal.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances were System Sensor "L-Series" P2WLA (white, wall mount, 2-wire, English/French lettering) horn/strobes, set to 15cd and 30cd depending on location. These were probably chosen to blend in with the walls. However, in the men's washroom, there was a disconnected Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6" gong), left over from the previous system.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations were Notifier MPS-950B conventional pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.

Former System Specifications
