System Specifications (2010s-present)
FACP
The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at an exit hallway, as the door says "FIRE ALARM RESET". The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations. These were installed in the mid-1980s, with a newer one as a deficiency replacement prior to the current system.
There is a Simplex 2099-9756 conventional dual-action pull station in The Ship as a deficiency replacement.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases.
