The University of Calagry is a public university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the Kinesiology A building, which opened in 1962 and underwent an expansion in 1971. The fire alarm system was installed in 2020.
System Specifications (2020-present)
FACP
The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule, and is equipped with the InfoAlarm Command Center. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.
The system replaced a conventional, non-voice evac 4100ES due to that system being outdated.
