Winfield Arena is an arena, located at 401 6 St E, Wetaskiwin County, AB. It was built in the 1970s, and the fire alarm system is most likely original except for the panel. The system will likely be upgraded this year.

FACP

The building is protected by an EST 6601 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the lobby, on the hall side, and is also noticeably mounted high. The system coding is continuous.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Chubb 960-1033 vibrating bells (10” gong). There is also one installed outdoors for exterior notification.

There are some 6" bells in some areas, model to be confirmed.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Sentron 303 conventional pull stations.
There are some Sentron 304 conventional two-stage pull stations, wired as single-stage.

There are also some other pull stations, to be confirmed.

Automatic Detection Devices

Most heat detectors are Edwards 281C rate-of-rise/fixed heat detectors.

There is an FDD CR135 fixed-temperature heat detector in the Olympia Room as a deficiency replacement. There is no sprinkler system.
