The Calgary Fire Department is the fire department for the City of Calgary. This page will cover Station 15, located at 6328 35 Ave NW, in the Bowness neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building is protected by a Simplex 4008 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

Most areas have Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9733 addressable fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors.
Some areas have Simplex 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors.
All detectors are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
