Le Meridien is a brand of upscale hotels. This particular hotel is located at 800 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL. It was built in 1961, and was renovated in 2019. The fire alarm system was installed during the renovation.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the lobby, near the elevators behind a glass cabinet. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and is equipped with the Digital Voice Command (DVC) voice evacuation system. The tones and/or messages are unknown at this time.

All notification appliances are from System Sensor’s “L-Series” line of products.
Most notification appliances are System Sensor SPSCRL speaker/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, set to 30cd).
Other areas have System Sensor SPSRL speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
Each guest room has a System Sensor SPRL speaker (red, wall-mount).
