The University of Calgary Child Development Centre is a 4-story low rise building near the Alberta Children's Hospital, at 3820 24 Ave NW, Calgary, AB. The building was built in 2007, and everything is original, except for the panel.
System Specifications[edit | edit source]
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system system. The panel(s) are located in the front entrance. The system has voice-evac capabilities, runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the evac tone is slow whoop followed by the default message.
The 4100ES replaced the original Simplex 4100U in 2014.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
The notification appliances are Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9154 (white, ceiling mount, multi-candela) speaker/strobes.
Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]
Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
The pull stations are all Simplex 4099-9001 single action, addressable T-bar pull stations.
