The Markin MacPhail Centre is an arena complex in SW Calgary. It has 4 sheets of ice, one of which is Olympic sized, with a capacity of 2500. It is located on the grounds of Winsport, Canada Olympic Park. It was built in 2014, and has its original fire alarm system. The system is networked to the Frank King Day Lodge (WinSport). This venue is known to host banquets, and will host User:Simplex NimrodES's graduation banquet.

The building is protected by a Siemens FireFinder XLS addressable fire alarm panel. It is original to the building, and is networked to the Frank King Day Lodge (WinSport). The system is has voice-evac capabilities and is two-stage.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are Siemens SE-MC-W-B (white, wall, English/French lettering, multi-candela, rebranded Wheelock E50-24MCW) speaker/strobes.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are Siemens HMS-2S addressable, bilingual, 2-stage pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Siemens FirePrint FP-11 smoke/heat combo detectors located throughout the building.
