Fire Alarmpedia was founded in 2020 as YYC Alarmpedia by three fire alarm enthusiasts (who are all owners and co-owners) from Calgary, Alberta, Canada when they realized that there was no real "fire alarm wiki" and wanted a place where they can update any system upgrades and replacements without having to create a new forum. Since then, we have over 50 pages of building fire alarm systems, and right now we are focusing on making a gradual change to "Fire Alarmpedia" where any fire alarm system can be made as a page and not just in Alberta. These pages are always accurate as they are confirmed by users going to those places and getting information from property websites/building permits. Fire alarm codings and loudness are confirmed by users hearing those alarms go off, as well as if they are two-stage.
