AgeCare Walden Heights is a large 5-story long term care/assisted living facility/retirement home located in Walden, SE Calgary. It was built in 2010 and the fire alarm system is original. The system is configured in a two-stage manner.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm panel is a Notifier NFS2-3030C with Voice Evacuation (Digital Voice Command) and Fire Phone Capabilities. It is located at the main entrance.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are all from System Sensor's SpectrAlert Advance lineup. The main notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" SPSR (red, wall mount) speaker/strobes located throughout, and one confirmed System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" SRK (red, wall mount) weatherproof strobe located outside at the front door.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
The pull stations are all Notifier N-MPS-2A (single-action, two-stage) addressable pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FSP-951A photoelectric addressable smoke detector located in Hallways, vestibules and Resident Rooms.
