It has an area of 26,385 square meters, making it the largest YMCA facility in Calgary, until another YMCA in Calgary surpassed this facility.

The fire alarm system is a two-stage Simplex 4100ES voice-evac system, original from 2018. It is unknown if there is more than one panel in the facility, but one has been spotted in the entrance on the left side of the building, in an office. The panel in that office has an auxiliary panel right next to it.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are all from Simplex's "TrueAlert" line of products. The main notification appliances are Simplex 4906-9151 (red, wall) speaker/strobes.
