No Frills is a grocery store chain owned by Loblaws. This location is in Cochrane, AB. It was built in 1998 as Extra Foods, but was changed to No Frills in 2012. The GoodLife Fitness will also be included in this system, as it was a part of Extra Foods in the past.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Kidde VS1. It is in the entrance of No Frills. It was installed in 2018-19, replacing an EST (GE) QuickStart QS1 from 2012 when part of the store was converted into Goodlife Fitness. Before that, the system was the original EST 6632 from 1998. The system does code-3, although this is unconfirmed.

Notification Appliances

In the No Frills, there is a mix of Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells on EST 403-5A-R (15 cd) Integrity strobe plates and Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bells. They are original from 1998, and it is unknown why the Wheelock bells are there. In the GoodLife fitness, there are mainly Edwards MB10-24 motor bells on EST 403-5A-R strobe plates from 2012, but in the back there is a leftover 439D-10AWC+Integrity plate combo.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

In the No Frills, the pull stations consist of the original Edwards 270-SPO conventional pull stations from 1998. In the Goodlife Fitness, there are EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations from 2012, but in the back where the leftover bell/strobe is, there is also a 1998 270-SPO.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
